Research Technician
Roos-Anne started her professional career at Utrecht University, following up on an internship based on liver organoid cultures in porcine adult stem cells. Here she worked as a Research Laboratory Technician as part of a cooperation of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Regenerative Medicine Center Utrecht. After 3 years she fully transitioned to working as a Research Technician for the UMC Utrecht, being part of the AI Lab for Living Technologies. In her current position she specializes on automation in the Robot Lab, while also pursuing a pre-master Health Sciences at VU Amsterdam. Next to her commitment to automation of cellular disease models for high throughput screening, and learning, she also is committed to aiding in disease treatment. This commitment saw her taking on Skate4AIR, a 200km ice-skating race for collecting funds for research into Cystic Fybrosis treatment.
